Overview
With its compact shallow design and flat-faced radial pattern, the SMARTEMP HSC-AD is engineered specially for high-level install locations such as foyers, exhibition halls, auditoria, convention centres, sports complexes and large distribution centres. The adjustable helical guide ring enables the diffuser to switch discharge patterns from horizontal swirl (for draught-free cooling) to downward penetrating swirl cone (for heating) without disrupting system air balance.

Performance & Benefits
The helical swirl design enables strong induction of room air, improving mixing and temperature equalisation. In cooling mode the diffuser’s high-induction swirl prevents cold air dumping and ensures uniform air distribution even at long throw distances. In heating mode, the downward penetrating swirl cone delivers gently swirling warm air over greater heights with no draughty spots or stagnant zones.
The constant pressure characteristics of the discharge adjustment allow system airflow balance to remain unaffected when the diffuser’s vane setting is changed, minimising fan surging and maintaining system stability.
