Air Diffusion Australia are committed to providing exceptional customer service. Below is a summary of our returns policy.
If goods are wrongly supplied, defective, faulty or not in accordance with the website description they may be returned for a full refund. You must advise us within 14 business days of the order being received if this is the case.
If you are not happy with the product or have changed your mind, goods may be returned for a refund minus 15% to cover restocking and payment fees.
All electrical items must be fitted by a person qualified to carry out the electrical repairs. Before an electrical item that has been installed will be considered for return, we must be provided with an invoice or a copy of an electrical certificate of compliance from a properly qualified installer detailing the work that has been carried out and listing the parts replaced.
Refunds
Once your return is received and inspected, we will send you an email to notify you that we have received your returned item. We will also notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund.
If you are approved, then your refund will be processed, and a credit will automatically be applied to your credit card or original method of payment, within 5 business days.
Only regular priced items may be refunded. Sale items and custom made to order products cannot be refunded.
Shipping Returns
To return your product, you should return your product to your nearest ADA or Paltech branch.
If you are returning more expensive items, you may consider using a trackable shipping service or purchasing shipping insurance. We don’t guarantee that we will receive your returned item.
In-Store Returns
Returns can be made in-store at any of our eleven branches across South Australia, Queensland, Victoria and the Northern Territory. Find all store contact details here:

To report a faulty or incorrect item, please contact us within 14 business days of receiving your order. Include your order number, a description of the issue, and any relevant photos or documentation. If the claim is approved, we may offer a replacement, refund or repair. If a return is required, we will advise the method of return and cover the shipping costs where applicable.
Please note that all electrical items must be installed by a qualified professional. For warranty or return claims involving installed electrical components, you must provide an invoice or certificate of compliance from a licensed installer.
Warranty Information
At Air Diffusion Australia, we stand behind the quality of our products. All parts sold through our website are genuine manufacturer parts and come with the standard 12-month manufacturer’s warranty, unless otherwise stated.
Standard Warranty Coverage
- Covers defects in materials and workmanship under normal use for a period of 12 months from the date of purchase.
- Provided by the product’s original manufacturer and subject to their terms and conditions.
- Warranty claims must be supported by proof of purchase and may require inspection or return of the product.
Extended Warranty Products
Some products come with extended warranties beyond the standard 12-month period. These are clearly stated on the relevant product pages. Examples include:
- Seeley Tornado Pump: 5-year warranty
- Polyester Insulation: 20-year warranty

Your Rights Under Australian Consumer Law
All products sold by Air Diffusion Australia come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. You are entitled to:
- A replacement or refund for a major failure
- Compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage
- Repair or replacement of goods that fail to be of acceptable quality, provided the failure is not considered major
These rights apply regardless of any manufacturer warranty and are in addition to the warranty coverage provided.
