Introducing the SMARTEMP PMW-AD
The SMARTEMP PMW-AD perforated multi-stream wall diffuser delivers superior indoor comfort in demanding commercial environments. Its side-entry configuration and perforated front face discharge multiple high-momentum air streams that rapidly mix supply air with ambient room air. As a result, the diffuser delivers high induction, rapid discharge velocity decay and uniform temperature distribution. Consequently, it reduces draughts and improves occupant comfort.
Key Features
- High-induction airflow. Multiple air streams create rapid air mixing. Therefore, the diffuser delivers true draught-free comfort.
- Adjustable air jets. Individually adjustable air-jet elements can be accessed using an Allen key through the diffuser face. Consequently, the tamper-resistant design maintains long-term performance and prevents unauthorised adjustments during cleaning or maintenance.
- Architectural finish. The perforated metal face features a 60° staggered hole pattern within an extruded aluminium frame. In addition, choose from a range of powder-coated colours to complement the surrounding interior.
- Flexible sizing. Standard widths include 612mm, 950mm and 1490mm. Standard heights range from 134mm to 251mm. Alternatively, bespoke widths from 207mm to 1490mm are available to suit project requirements.
- Wide operating range. Supports airflow rates from 30 to 500L/s (108 to 1800m³/h). It also delivers throw distances from approximately 1.3m to 17m. Consequently, it suits installation heights between 2.5m and 4m.
- System compatibility. Suitable for constant air volume (CAV) systems with airflow turndown to approximately 50%. Furthermore, it performs effectively with low-temperature supply air of 10°C or higher and a supply-to-room temperature differential of at least -15K. It also achieves typical Air Diffusion Performance Index (ADPI) values greater than 90%.
