These Celdek Filter Pads are premium replacement evaporative cooler pads. Manufactured from high-quality Celdek media, these pads provide excellent water retention and airflow characteristics, helping to maximise cooling performance and maintain efficient system operation.

Over time, evaporative cooler pads can become clogged with dust, mineral deposits and airborne contaminants, reducing airflow and cooling effectiveness. Replacing worn filter pads helps restore cooling efficiency, improve indoor air quality and keep your Braemar evaporative cooler operating reliably throughout the warmer months.

Installation and Maintenance Tips

Remove filter pads from your unit as instructed in the user manual for your unit. When fitting new pads, ensure the 30mm water distribution strip is at the top.

New filter pads may have an unpleasant odour when first installed. To reduce this odour and prevent it from entering the air-conditioned rooms, it is recommended to flush clean water through the pads for 5 mins by filling the tank, running the water pump and then fully draining the tank prior to use. Use the 'Pad Flush' option where available, or run in cooling mode on the lowest fan speed to do this.  New pads may take several hours to wet out when first used.

To maximise the life of your new filter pads ensure your cooler salinity management or bleed system is functioning correctly to prevent excessive salt build-up in the pads.

It is also recommended to gently rinse your filter pads with water annually to clean the pads and remove any dust build-up.
